UFC lightweight Chris “The Problem” Duncan joins David McIntosh Jr for a special live conversation.

From Alloa to the UFC, Duncan’s story is one of grit, sacrifice and relentless self-belief. A former shepherd from Scotland, he fought his way through the regional scene, earned his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, and has become one of the most compelling Scottish fighters competing on the world stage.

But behind the rise is a story marked by real loss and resilience. On the day of his first fight, Chris’s mum passed away - a moment that would shape not only his journey as a fighter, but the person he became outside the cage.

In this intimate live conversation, David McIntosh Jr sits down with Chris to explore the full story behind the fighter: the early years, the setbacks, the grief, the mindset, the pressure of competing at the highest level, and what it really takes to build a life around chasing something most people would never dare attempt.

Expect a raw, funny and inspiring night of stories from inside and outside the Octagon, followed by an audience Q&A.

Why do we have a restoration Levy?

Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building. As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke's requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities. This levy will enable us to fund essential projects that will safeguard the venue's future as a vibrant hub for live music and community events.

If you would like to be kept up to date on progress with how we are using this fund then please follow us on social media @stlukesglasgow, and sign up to our mailing list where we will send out quarterly updates on the improvements that your donations are helping us make.
