After nearly two years away from the stage, Captives return for their first show in over two years, celebrating the release of a new single and giving fans the first taste of what's to come.Fresh from the studio in New York where Captives joined forces with producer Jon Markson (The Story So Far, Koyo, Drain) and engineer Alan Day (Four Year Strong) at Animal Farm Studios in New Jersey to record their most explosive material yet. With a career dating back to 2013 and multiple tours across Japan, Taiwan, China and Australia, the Melbourne Hard Rock outfit returns with renewed energy and a new chapter to share."Recording at The Animal Farm was such an incredible experience. The studio is set on a farm, so every day we'd wake up surrounded by ducks, cows, geese and chickens before heading straight into the studio. At one point we even had to chase a fox away and round up the farm animals in the middle of the session. It was unlike anything we've ever experienced and it was great to just be away somewhere cool to do that." – Captives"On Fire" is the first single from the sessions and marks the band's long-awaited return.
