ÞAU will perform a special concert in Hesteyri on Sunday, July 26.
The event will be offered as a concert trip from Ísafjörður, with a boat journey over to Hesteyri. Guests will have time to enjoy the surroundings, have refreshments at Læknishúsið, and end the day with a concert in the magnificent landscape of Hornstrandir.
ÞAU is an Icelandic alt-rock duo led by Rakel Björk and Gaddi. It's sound blends raw guitars, poetic storytelling, and rich layered textures. Known for immersive live shows, ÞAU builds dynamic soundscapes using loopers, effects, and multi-instrumental performances.
ÞAU have released the albums ÞAU taka Vestfirði and ÞAU taka Norðurland, both of which have been warmly received, and are now working on their third album, ÞAU taka Suðurland. The band will be touring this summer and are very much looking forward to bringing their music to Hesteyri.
