Sydney's Front End Loader make a return to the stage on Friday July 24 at The Burdekin Hotel, with special guest FANGZ, plus more to be announced.Formed in the early 1990s, the band emerged from the country’s thriving pub rock circuit, spending over three decades building a reputation as one of Australia’s most enduring and quietly influential guitar acts. While never chasing the spotlight, the band have cultivated a loyal following both in Australia and internationally, earning respect for their consistency, authenticity, and refusal to compromise their style. Just as importantly, they’ve remained a formidable live act - known for tight, high-energy performances that feel as immediate and unpretentious as the venues they came up in.Still recording and performing decades on, Front End Loader stand as a testament to longevity done right.

Front End Loader
Based in Sydney, Australia, Front End Loader are self-described as "Australia's least popular, relatively well known band". Formed in 1991 FEL have always been a difficult band to categorize. Undeniably a hard rock band, they have avoided the traditional tattoos and hair of hard rock and as musicians, they tend closer to jazz, or math rock without the earnestness. Front End Loader have toured with the likes of Regurgitator, The Superjesus and Shihad plus many others. They have a reputation for ferocious live performances and not holding their collective tongues. To a degree their outspokenness has impeded commercial success (particularly at Australia's national youth station, JJJ) but endeared them to their fan base. Front End Loader have not toured so much the last few years due to family commitments however a live album and tour is expected in 2008.
