On the occasion of RRS Sir David Attenborough's visit on Culture Night, Alison Cook, a postdoctoral researcher in Polar Geospatial Analysis at the Scottish Association for Marine Science, will host a science talk entitled: “Greenland's ice sheet is melting faster than ever: what does this mean for Atlantic Ocean currents and Europe’s climate?”.

The talk will be conducted in English on 22 August at 14:00-14:30. Admission is free and everyone is welcome ✨

The ship’s welcoming is organized in collaboration with the British Antarctic Survey and the British Embassy 🇬🇧

This event is part of the Reykjavík City Museum’s diverse program for Culture Night 🌙
