At 5:30pm, Irish/British singer and songwriter, Aoife, who has called Reykjavík home for six years will play us her music accompanied by her band. She writes honestly and with her words at the forefront, with a strong influence from jazz and alt-pop. She is currently studying the NAIP (New Audiences and Innovative Practice) MA with LHÍ and has spent the last half-year on exchange, studying jazz vocals at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.
In March she released her debut EP ‘Never Been One to let a Bygone Go’, and she is preparing for further releases later this year. She will perform a program of her original music and also songs she composed in collaboration with Sævar Helgi Jóhannsson.
