De IJslandse band MÚR had nog geen album uit toen ze in 2022 tijdens Soulcrusher op indrukwekkende wijze hun zware sfeervolle post metal ten gehore brachten.

Inmiddels zijn we drie jaar later en heeft het geweldige titelloze debuut in 2024 het levenslicht gezien en staat de nieuwe plaat in de steigers. Massieve, gelaagde gitaarriffs worden afgewisseld met filmische dynamiek en fragiele passages. Met hun IJslandse roots en uitgesproken eigen identiteit klinkt de jonge band tegelijk mysterieus, modern en vol karakter. Liefhebbers van lange nummers met opbouw, kop-staart plus inhoud zijn bij MÚR dan aan het juiste adres. Verplichte kost voor fans van Cult of Luna en The Ocean, maar ook Messa en Psychonaut.
