Live @ the Town Hall returns this August with its biggest show yet, and we could not be more excited to bring Baker Boy and Miss Kaninna to Albany for the very first time, joined by an incredible lineup featuring INKABEE, JJ Vacant and Ricky Neil Jr.
Headlining the fourth Live @ the Town Hall show for 2026, Baker Boy brings his explosive live energy, powerhouse catalogue and unmistakable blend of hip hop, dance, culture and language to the iconic Albany Town Hall stage.
One of Australia’s most celebrated and ground-breaking artists, Baker Boy has become a true national phenomenon: a six-time ARIA Award winner, 2019 Young Australian of the Year and proud Yolŋu artist whose music has reached audiences across the world. Fresh from a bold new era of music with his second album 'DJANDJAY', Baker Boy’s Albany debut is set to be a landmark moment for Live @ the Town Hall.
Joining him as main support is the incredible Miss Kaninna, also appearing in Albany for the first time. Fierce, fearless and impossible to ignore, Miss Kaninna has rapidly become one of the most compelling voices in Australian music, earning ARIA nominations, major national and international acclaim, and a reputation for live performances that hold rage, joy, truth and resistance in equal measure.
The energy continues with INKABEE, the 14-year-old Noongar Wongi hip hop and R&B artist from Boorloo (Perth) whose rise has taken him from viral acclaim to triple j’s Like A Version, America’s Got Talent and SXSW stages. He’s joined by JJ Vacant, a rising Noongar/Wongi and Pitjantjatjara hip hop artist delivering raw storytelling, razor-sharp lyricism and explosive live energy.
To open the night, Albany Town Hall welcomes Ricky Neil Jr. home to Kinjarling with disco-infused pop, groove-heavy tracks and a proper party-starting live show.
Made possible with support from Revive Live, this full-night celebration of First Nations talent, emerging WA artists and high-energy live music will be one of the most exciting and ambitious Live @ the Town Hall lineups yet.
Expect big energy, big sound and a full-house Live @ the Town Hall atmosphere like never before.
Bring your mates. This one will be huge.

Miss Kaninna
Miss Kaninna is a First Nations artist whose music, voice, and presence have positioned her as one of the most compelling figures in so-called Australian music today. Hailing from Bruny Island, Tasmania, and of Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon, and Yirendali heritage, she made history in 2024 with her debut single Blak Britney, earning three ARIA nominations and becoming the first independent Aboriginal woman nominated for an ARIA for a debut single. The track hit #1 on triple j, featured in Netflix’s Heartbreak High, and was recognised by Rolling Stone as one of the Best Australian & NZ Songs of the 21st Century. Her debut EP KANINNA received critical acclaim, an ARIA nomination for Best Hip-Hop Release, and major wins at the 2025 AIR Awards. Renowned for ferocious, genre-defying live performances, Miss Kaninna has toured internationally, supported artists including M.I.A and Stormzy, and continues to use her platform in service of culture, community, and change.
