The vessel cannot wait for late passengers. Once boarding has closed, late arrivals cannot be boarded and tickets are non-refundable.

Authorised photo ID is required. This is a licensed venue operating under strict licensing and RSA regulations.

Food & Drinks

Drinks and food are available for purchase onboard. Strictly no BYO food or beverages. Any menu provided is indicative only and may change without notice.

Limited Seating Notice

This is a concert-style cruise event, not a table-service or seated-viewing event. The vessel layout is designed by All Event Cruises with event flow, dance floor space, passenger movement and onboard safety in mind.

Limited unreserved seating is available throughout the vessel, however seating cannot be reserved or guaranteed. Guests must not bring their own chairs, stools or other seating onboard. Bringing personal seating may create safety or access issues and may result in refusal of entry.

Guests are encouraged to view prior event photo albums on our social media pages before booking to understand the event style, vessel setup and atmosphere. Suitability of the event is at the patron’s discretion prior to purchase. Unsuitability based on seating preferences, event format or personal requirements does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Footwear Policy

MV Calmer has steep stairs. Tall, stiletto or pointed heels are not permitted. Flat shoes or small chunky heels are recommended.

Bag Policy

For safety and security reasons, bags larger than a small purse or clutch are not permitted onboard. All bags may be searched prior to boarding. Guests arriving with backpacks, totes or larger bags may be refused entry without refund.

Accessibility

MV Calmer is not a fully accessible venue due to wharf, gangway and vessel design. The vessel cannot accommodate wheelchairs. Access may vary depending on tides and marine conditions. Guests are responsible for assessing whether the vessel and event are suitable for their individual accessibility, mobility or personal needs before purchasing tickets. Please contact us before booking to discuss suitability. Lack of suitability based on accessibility or personal requirements does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Allergen Notice

Our onboard kitchen operates in a shared environment and cannot be considered allergen-free. While care is taken in preparation, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens, including gluten, due to the risk of cross-contamination. Guests with significant intolerance, severe allergies or specific dietary requirements should carefully consider whether the available options and onboard kitchen environment are suitable before booking. Dietary or allergen-related unsuitability does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Weather

Cruises operate in most weather conditions unless otherwise advised. Rain does not stop the boat from cruising, and there is covered indoor space on the main and mid decks.

Photography, Videography & CCTV

Professional photography and videography may take place onboard for promotional purposes. MV Calmer is also monitored by CCTV for the safety and security of guests, crew and staff.

Event Conditions

All Event Cruises reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests who do not comply with venue policies, safety requirements or responsible service of alcohol regulations.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser. No mid-cruise drop-offs or pickups are available.
