DRUSLUGANGAN 2026 // THE REYKJAVÍK SLUT WALK 2026

Our dear sluts,

On July 25th, we will march for the fourteenth time from Hallgrímskirkja in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and in opposition to the glorification of rape culture and the victim-blaming that continues to poison our society.

The Slut Walk is a solidarity march with survivors of sexual violence and has become a deeply rooted part of Reykjavík’s summer. It was first held in 2011, and the goal of the walk is to free survivors from the shame and burden that violence leaves behind and to create a safe space filled with solidarity and love. Survivors of all genders, and anyone who wishes to show their support in action are welcome.
