Since its beginning in 1990, the Hokitika Wildfoods Festival has grown from a small community event into one of New Zealand’s most iconic and longest-running festivals.

Legendary band DRAGON will be headline to celebrate its 37th year, along with amazing bands ZED & OPSHOP

The festival has become a signature event on the West Coast calendar, attracting thousands of visitors from across New Zealand and around the world.

Born from the West Coast’s pioneering spirit, the festival was created to celebrate the region’s rich natural environment, resourcefulness, and willingness to embrace the unexpected. What started as a unique showcase of wild and unconventional foods quickly captured the imagination of adventurous food lovers, evolving into an event renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, unforgettable entertainment, and unmistakable West Coast hospitality.
