Great Aunt is an award-winning folk duo known for their soaring harmonies, unique instrumentation, and heart-felt live performances. Winners of the 2024 Folk Alliance Australia Duo of the Year, Megan Bird and Chelsea Allen blend folk, country and roots music with influences from their backgrounds in punk, jazz, soul, and rock to create a sound that is at once familiar and entirely their own. In 2026, they continue to tour extensively throughout Australia and the United States. Their music is equal parts joyful and vulnerable, and delivered with warmth, wit, and soul.
